[Excerpt from the I ]
"Dias and I were floating among the butterflies, as one being. The sapphire waves of light beat down on my wings like beams of love. I smelled the delicious pollen waft from the glorious daffodils below. I gently floated onto the most luscious one among them, and fed hedonistically on its sweet, sweet nectar. It covered my legs and face, and soaked my hair in its pure, life-giving fluid. Ecstasy overtook me. A shadowy vermin scurried underneath the flower and knocked me to the ground. Its mangled fur was soaked with urine. Its flesh was rotten and exposed. It smelled like feces. The beast’s yellow teeth were decayed and wreaked like old meat. It snarled and drooled. “You’ve been a bad boy, Dias.” It sneered. “You must be punished!” The vermin dug its filthy claws into me. I tried to scream, but could not. “You must learn fear, boy!” I watched helplessly as it devoured me."
